Hagai Koreh
A technical designer

- After more than 19 years of metal workshop management  - mostly for private customers, I
turned to  CAD design.

- Designing was always a stage in the  route to manufacturing.

- Today you cannot gain a fair “bargain” without CAD (computer added drawings) abilities.

- In my designs, I use a licensed , supported Siemens- Solid-Edge software

- Building a product in a 3D environment is a good way to eliminate mistakes,
reducing production times, enhancing productivity while gaining a great deal of flexibility.

- I can export files to  non-Siemens users as well as  open files from a non-Solid-Edge software.

- I’m glad to present to you a few of my works.
Some were designed by architects and handed to me for technical design, while some others were designed (and somtimes manufactured) by myself.

A brief explanation about tehnical design:
While architectural design deals and refers to the general sight and bounderies, technical design assembles  products from various parts that were made in a parametric- technical design- generally in a 3D environment. All parts keep the right  relations among them.  This allows us to disassemble  the product at the end and to send each part to the next level of production such as laser cut, sheet- metal bendings, drilling, threadings etc.  I use the architectural design only as a  platform .

- Today, I concentrate mainly on sketching, less on manufacturing.
Still, my abilities are sometimes needed in order to accomplish the task.

- As a technical designer that has a wide record and knowledge in the metal industry, I have the best understanding of how to approach  products that are sometimes a little complicated.

Kind regards- Hagai.
